Credit Card Transactions Fee: Beginning January 1, 2025, Safari will institute a fee of 2.5% on all purchases using credit card payment. If the item purchased is returned for refund (for any reason), this credit card transaction fee is NONREFUNDABLE.
Deposits for Parts Orders: A cash deposit of at least 20% is required for when parts must be removed or ordered from other vendors.
Improper Installation/Usage: Safari bears no responsibility for improper installation or usage after purchase. Safari is not liable for, and the purchaser waives, all claims for consequential damage resulting from Safari’s sale of the part. The purchaser’s sole remedy shall be a return of the invoice price or exchange of the replacement part, if the return policy criteria are met.
Safety Inspection: All used parts or merchandise must be inspected by the purchaser for defects that could result in apparent or nonapparent safety hazards. Safari DOES NOT guarantee or warrant used vehicle parts for apparent or nonapparent safety hazards. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to inspect for actual or latent safety hazards.
Third-Party Orders: Orders will not be accepted from third parties except repair shops at the direct request of the vehicle owner. Orders will not be accepted by non-US parties or shipped to non-US addresses.
Safari Auto Wrecking Returns Policy
Thank you for choosing Safari Auto Wrecking for your automotive needs. We accept non-warranty-related returns (for warranty policies and related returns, see the Warranty section) on mechanical and body parts within 30 days of the date of purchase, with the following return policy requirements:
Condition of the Part: The returned part must be in its original condition, unused, and undamaged. It should be in its original packaging, if applicable.
Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase is required for all returns.
Restocking Fee: A restocking fee will apply to all returns. The restocking fee varies depending on the item and condition.
Refund Method: Refunds may be issued in the same form as the original payment, and store credit will be generated in some cases.
Non-refundable Items: Safari DOES NOT allow returns or refunds on special orders, electrical components, and cut items. Some costs associated with original purchases that are returnable, such as labor and freight, are not eligible for refund.
Exchange Policy: We may offer exchanges for incorrect or defective parts, subject to availability.
Refusal of Returns: Safari Auto Wrecking reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet our return policy criteria.

Safari Auto Wrecking Warranty Policy on Used Parts
Safari Auto Wrecking offers a wide selection of quality, recycled auto parts. These recycled parts and components have been thoroughly inspected by Safari professionals and tested to ensure their reliability and performance, and your peace of mind.
Safari provides a limited, 30-day warranty on every mechanical and body part we sell, covering you against defects in materials and workmanship. We do not charge a restocking fee on returns of defective parts.
For mechanical and body parts, we accept warranty-related returns within 30 days of purchase, but we do charge a restocking fee of at least 20%. Body parts may also be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to a minimum restocking fee of 20%.
We DO NOT provide a warranty on electrical parts, cut parts, or special orders.
The following notes apply to our warranty:
Coverage: The warranty covers the exchange of defective parts or a refund, at Safari Auto Wrecking’s discretion.
Specific Component Warranties: Safari warrants the following automotive components as specified:
- Engines are guaranteed against rod knock, cracked block, and excessive smoke for 30 days from the date of purchase. Engine accessories are not guaranteed.
- Transmissions are guaranteed to work properly at the time of purchase; gears are guaranteed to be in good condition at the time of purchase.
- Rear ends are guaranteed to work properly at the time of purchase; gears are guaranteed to be in good condition at the time of purchase, and bearings are guaranteed to be without material noise at the time of purchase.
- Starters, generators, and alternators are guaranteed to be in working condition at the time of purchase. Safari does not guarantee against improper installation, faulty voltage regulators, or poor electrical connections by purchasers.
- Radiators and heaters are guaranteed not to leak at the time of purchase.
- Batteries are guaranteed to hold their charge.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
- Electrical parts, cut parts, or special orders.
- Damage due to improper installation, misuse, or neglect.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Parts used for racing or other competitive activities.
- Parts altered or modified from their original condition.
Claim Process: To make a warranty claim, customers must:
- Contact Safari Auto Wrecking within the warranty period (30 days from date of purchase).
- Provide a valid proof of purchase.
- Provide Safari details of the issue.
- Allow Safari the opportunity to inspect the part before any replacements or refunds are provided.
Freight and Labor Costs: Safari Auto Wrecking return or exchange policies do not cover any shipping and/or labor costs associated with the transportation, installation, or removal of parts. Such costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Transferability: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Disclaimer: Safari Auto Wrecking shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of its products.
Modification of Terms: Safari Auto Wrecking reserves the right to modify or amend the terms of this warranty policy at any time.

Online and Telephone Sales Policies
Products ordered from Safari Auto Wrecking either online or by telephone are subject to specific authorizations and terms:
Credit Card Authorization: By placing an order with Safari Auto Wrecking and paying by credit card, the customer has authorized Safari Auto Wrecking to charge the order to that credit card. The customer acknowledges that placement of such an order by credit card is a binding purchase and that the customer takes responsibility for all shipping costs to the customer’s destination (“FOB”).
The customer understands that if for any reason they refuse this shipment, excluding damage, the freight charges will be charged to the customer’s credit card.
Currency: All orders must be paid in U.S. dollars.
Voidance of Warranty: The customer understands that tampering, disassembly, or modification to any part without written authorization from Safari Auto Wrecking will void all warranties.
Labor Not Covered: Safari Auto Wrecking parts warranty covers the part only, not any labor costs associated with removal or installation of parts.
Returns Process: If a return is necessary, the customer must contact Safari Auto Wrecking to make arrangements for return shipments (at the customer’s expense). Safari Auto Wrecking reserves the right to arrange all returns. Returns received without such pre-authorization will not be accepted.
Claims for Products Damaged in Delivery: Claims for merchandise damaged during shipment must be made by the purchaser to the delivering carrier at time of receipt. Safari Auto Wrecking is not responsible for duties, tariffs, clearance, customs transfer, export, or any miscellaneous fees.
Pick up by Customer: Customer will be notified by Safari when parts orders placed are ready for pick-up. Orders must be picked up within one week from the date of notification, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by Safari Auto Wrecking. All orders not picked up within this time frame are subject to cancellation, in which case the customer’s deposit is forfeited and will not be refunded..
Deposits: If an order is cancelled by the customer, any deposit will not be refunded.
